Tokushukai Gymnastics Club Professional Athlete Education

This viewpoint is expressed by Mr. Isao Yoneda, who serves as the coach of the Tokushukai Gymnastics Club and is also a gold medalist from the Athens Olympics. Top athletes often state that by the time they become professionals, there is very little difference in terms of technical skills. So, what sets apart the performance of top athletes? According to Mr. Yoneda, the differentiating factor is the “mental aspect” that arises from one’s approach to things. In critical moments that determine victory, the attribute that provides strength when one feels overwhelmed by such pressure is the “human ability” to inspire and bring joy to others. He claims that his conviction transformed through our company’s courses. For the education of this “mindset” and to further enhance the team’s unity, the Tokushukai Gymnastics Club has introduced our team-oriented training since 2015 and continues to hold it twice a year.

High school is a time when students think about their future and decide their own paths. The ultimate ideal would be to clearly define one's life-level aspirations, dreams, and goals, set targets by working backward from there, and live each day in a planned manner. Hanamaki Higashi High School, known as the alma mater of athlete Shohei Ohtani, took on the challenge of the theme, "How can such an education be realized?" The joint project with Achievement has finally entered its fourth year, and we would like to reintroduce its features and initiatives.

Tsukuba University Athletic Department Partnership Project 'Road to the Top Course' Effect Verification

Achievement Corporation has been conducting the Effect Verification of the ‘Road to the Top’ Course Series in collaboration with Tsukuba University Athletic Department since 2021, aiming to support students in acquiring the “skills for goal achievement.” In 2023, we conducted a survey targeting the course participants participating in the ‘Road to the Top’ Course Series. We received responses from a total of 1625 individuals.

The Tsukuba University Athletic Department is established within Tsukuba University with the vision of “creating the best school sports program.” The department aims to achieve educational reforms through sports. It focuses on three main principles: establishing sports activities for which the school is responsible and fostering human resources, creating contribution projects that maximize the value of having sports in school, and widely sharing these efforts with schools nationwide to create new school sports jointly. It aims for a transformation in school sports education.

Starting from 2022, our company has been providing sponsorship and support to the Tokyo University Athletic Association American Football Team ‘WARRIORS.’ This team, which competes in the top 8 of Kanto Region Division 1 American football, is dedicated to enhancing team strength as they strive for even greater heights. An organization is a gathering of individuals, and as each member grows, the organization also evolves. To consistently achieve business objectives aligned with its ‘philosophy,’ an organization must not only ‘recruit’ and ‘develop’ exceptional talent but also establish mechanisms and environments that allow each individual to engage fully in their work. Our company has supported the growth of numerous entrepreneurs and businesses, and since 2018, we have utilized this experience to assist in organizational reforms, membership enhancement, and expansion across youth chambers of commerce nationwide.
